The Lynx swam Henderson State University on Saturday, January 19, in Arkadelphia, AR. Although the Lynx were defeated by the Division II school (67-117), there were many exciting races and season best times!

Kicking off the meet, freshman Drew Wagstaff dominated the 1650y freestyle clocking in at a time of 17:08.40. Highlighting the meet for Rhodes was freshman Jarrett Tate's 50y freestyle, where he broke his own school record by touching the wall in only 21.24 seconds. Senior Michael Lallemand also had an exceptional 50y free with a season best time of 23.15. In the final individual event of the meet, junior Gavin Franks swam a lifetime best time in the 100y breastroke with a time of 1:11.94.

Leading up to the SCAC Championship meet, the Rhodes Lynx have shown they are to be contenders as they continue to drop time and compete with great intensity.

Rhodes Swimming will face Sewanee and Hendrix at the Bartlett Recreation Center on Friday, January 25, at 6:00 pm. This will be the last home meet of the season for the Lynx!
